Many unwanted and rescued animals find their home amongst the beautiful foliage at Sarasota Jungle Gardens. In the open gardens you will find free roaming flamingos that will eat directly from your hand. A "Kiddie Jungle" playground and a shell museum are part of the experience. Daily shows include "Meet the Keeper," "Birds of Prey," " Reptile Encounter," "Birds of the Rainforest," and "Critters and Things." Videos, drawings and games will be featured. Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily except Christmas. Daily admission: $12 adults; $11 seniors; $8 children ages 3-12; and children younger than age 3 admitted free. Information: 941-355-5305
